Books and comics bring the story home to you.

Through partnerships with licensees and our own Disney Lucasfilm Press, Disney Publishing Worldwide uses the touchstones of the entire Star Wars saga to complement and expand fans’ experience of the films. These compelling stories take you inside the galaxy of Star Wars in ways you never could have imagined.

For fiction fans, we have numerous acclaimed and best-selling titles, including Thrawn: Ascendancy, From A Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back, and the all-new Star Wars: The High Republic program that explores an exciting new era in the Star Wars universe, centuries before The Phantom Menace. We also have thrilling Young Adult titles including Poe Dameron: Free Fall and Star Wars: Queen’s Peril.

For those fans who wish to go deeper into the mythology, we have reference books such as Star Wars: The Lightsaber Collection and The Star Wars Book: Expand Your Knowledge of a Galaxy Far, Far Away.

And behind-the-scenes titles such as The Art of Star Wars: The Mandalorian, The Star Wars Archives. 1977–1983. 40th Anniversary Edition and The Art of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, perfect for fans of all ages.

The first issue of Marvel Star Wars (released in 2015) sold over a million copies and is recognized as the top selling comic of the last decade. We currently have multiple ongoing titles and mini-series, including Darth Vader, Doctor Aphra, Bounty Hunters and more. We also have Star Wars comics for kids: Star Wars Adventures published by IDW. The High Republic is supported in comics as well, with The High Republic series from Marvel, The High Republic Adventures from IDW and upcoming projects such as an original manga from Viz, and an all-new original graphic novel.

For younger fans, we have chapter books such as Star Wars: The Mandalorian: A Clan of Two, I Am a Padawan, and middle grade titles like The Clone Wars: Stories of Light and Dark.
