THE REPUBLIC HAS FALLEN, AND A GROUP OF CLONES MUST FIGHT TO SURVIVE
An episodic series created by Lucasfilm Animation, Star Wars: The Bad Batch debuted on May the 4th, 2021, on Disney+. First appearing in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the five elite troopers that make up Clone Force 99 include Hunter, Wrecker, Tech, Echo, and Crosshair, each with their own distinct skills and characteristics. The spinoff series features the introduction of Omega, a kind-hearted adolescent clone sister, presenting a new kind of challenge for the eclectic family unit.
The series is executive produced by Dave Filoni, Athena Portillo, Carrie Beck, Brad Rau, and Jennifer Corbett with Josh Rimes as co-executive producer and Alex Spotswood as senior producer. Rau also acts as supervising director with Corbett as head writer.
The Story
The end of the Clone Wars marks the end of the Galactic Republic and the rise of the oppressive Empire. In the midst of the chaos, an elite unit of clone troopers defies Order 66 and chooses to go on the run. Joined by a young clone named Omega, the so-called Bad Batch struggles to evade the constant pursuit of its enemies.
