A six-part anthology of animated shorts, Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi debuted on Disney+ on October the 26, 2022, to critical acclaim. Featuring parables built around Jedi from the prequel era, the series follows two distinctly different Jedi — Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku.
Dave Filoni created the series, is supervising director and executive producer along with Athena Yvette Portillo and Carrie Beck. Filoni also writes and directs several episodes, alongside directors Saul Ruiz, Charles Murray, and Nathaniel Villanueva.
THE STORY
Set in the time of the Galactic Republic and the early days of the Imperial regime, Tales of the Jedi explores untold moments in the lives of Ahsoka Tano and Count Dooku as the two Jedi come into their power and make drastically divergent decisions on the path to destiny.
