Music by John Williams tells the fascinating story of its namesake’s life through the lens of his brilliant career. The composer of countless iconic film scores, including more than a dozen Lucasfilm productions from Star Wars: A New Hope (1977) to Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), John Williams has defined the landscape of film music for half a century. Although he was initially shy about having his own story told, this feature-length documentary takes viewers backstage into Williams’ composing and conducting, and his collaborators in both film and music, including director Steven Spielberg and musician Yo-Yo Ma, join to discuss their insights.
