D23 2024: Details Revealed About New Indiana Jones Attraction Coming to Walt Disney World
Actor Ke Huy Quan greeted fans onstage at the Disney Experiences Showcase.
Guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Orlando, Florida will soon be able to join Indiana Jones on an all-new adventure. The story will take Indy to a Maya temple rumored to be the home of a mythical creature, and park guests are going along with the archaeologist as he explores the secrets held deep within this ancient edifice.
Academy Award-winning actor Ke Huy Quan greeted fans at the Disney Experiences Showcase this evening at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event to help preview the adventure. Quan, who began his film career playing Short Round in Lucasfilm’s Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984), was joined by Disney Experiences chairman Josh D’Amaro and Walt Disney Imagineering chief creative officer Bruce Vaughn. Together they explained more about this signature attraction coming to the new 11-acre Tropical Americas land at Animal Kingdom.
A lot of surprises will no doubt be in store for this new collaboration between Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Imagineering. And will there be snakes? We’ll just have to wait to find out…
